My name is Sandra Chappell and I offer Speech and Language Therapy to parents, schools and nurseries across North Yorkshire and the North East.

I provide speech and language assessment, therapy, advice and staff training. I work with children up to age 16 in their own home or in school or nursery.

Well-developed speech, language and communication skills form the basis of all learning, and are fundamental to social and emotional well-being. They are essential to enable children to achieve their potential.

the Health Professionals Council (HPC Reg), and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists
in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).

  • Being slow to start talking
  • Being slow to put words together in sentences
  • Problems with sentence construction
  • Problems with vocabulary and word-finding
  • Frequent grammatical errors
  • Difficulty understanding or processing what is said

  • Poor attention and listening skills
  • Poor social skills
